To best service your needs, our dynamic sales team consists of several different people, each specialising in an aspect of the sales journey, from; Administrators and Valuers to Negotiators and Co-ordinators and Sales Managers and File Progressors. Working all in the same office helps enhance our communication and team cohesion, making sure we can deliver the best service possible.


It all begins when you request a valuation from us. One of our experienced valuers will visit your home and provide you with an up-to-date sales appraisal. This will be based on our years of experience, a comparison on similar properties that have recently sold in the area, and of course a detailed home assessment. Any queries you have can be discussed at the time of our visit and we will advise you on all aspects of selling your property.

The property market is ever-changing, especially in London, therefore valuations on your property can change throughout the year. Unlike other agents, we give you real, honest advice about the current market conditions and what we can achieve for your property.

Once we are instructed, our sales co-ordinator will arrange for our Professional Photographer to attend and stage your home to maximise its potential. They will take an array of external and internal shots, as well as conducting a detailed floorplan. We will then hand pick a selection of photos to draw up the property details (with your final approval) before uploading the property to our website and the property portals.

We understand the importance of marketing your property and to maximize its coverage, when you choose us, your property will be featured through a variety of channels. Your property will be advertised on our website, as well as all major portals; Rightmove, Zoopla and OnTheMarket.

Unlike a lot of agents, we are in regular contact with our pre-qualified applicants, notifying them of any pending listings, to help secure quick sales. As part of our marketing, Will (who also manages our social media) also shoots a video walk through of your property and uploads it to the property portals as well as our social media channels.

Our sales negotiators will then generate interest and work through enquires to arrange viewings for suitable purchasers to visit your property. They will give you regular feedback, in case we need to tailor the marketing to acquire a suitable buyer. When we are in receipt of offers, they will conduct negotiations on your behalf, making sure they achieve the best possible price for you.

Once the sale has been agreed, we will then organise the sales paperwork and send the sales memorandum to relevant parties. You will need to instruct solicitors, and the sale would then begin to be progressed by us. The sales progression is perhaps the most challenging part of the sale (and one that most agents are not skilled at). We work relentlessly with all parties involved; buyer, seller, solicitors, freeholders etc, to communicate amongst the parties, manage expectations and push where needed to get the sale completed.

Michael has been with W J Meade since 2004, pretty much straight from university and heads up our sales team. He has an overview on all aspects of the business however his day-to-day responsibilities revolve around property valuations and sales. From the initial marketing to the importance of sales progression (dealing with solicitors and mortgage brokers) through to a seamless exchange and completion. His unrivalled local knowledge and experience is a true asset to W J Meade and has also proved to be for so many clients past, present and future.

Billy Collins

Billy’s W J Meade journey started in 2006, working his way up from a trainee negotiator to his current position as Sales Manager. He thrives on working in such a vibrant area, across all different types of properties and prides himself on building relationships with clients, relishing the history behind many of the properties that we sell. Russell has been working in the Bow area for over 30 years, joining Meade’s in 1996. Specialising in the Conservation areas and in particular Tredegar Square, Russell has built a great rapport with many of its inhabitants in the area and has become a well-known Mile End celebrity in his own right. Although Russell has reduced his working hours, he still thrives on being recognised and is regularly contacted by new and old clients for advice and help in selling their property. As a core member of our well established and reputable W J Meade sales team, Alfie works closely with Billy Collins (sales manager) to get your property under offer. Alfie deals with all aspects of sales from; responding to enquiries and generating viewings to acquiring applicants and securing sales. Alfie is on hand to assist our vendors and buyers with any query or request they may have. With Billy's guidance and support, he is already becoming another familiar face in the area, adopting the strong customer service ethos which WJMeade embodies.

William Bolitho

William Bolitho Sales Co-ordinator

Will is our newly appointed sales co-ordinator, working closely with the sales and branch managers to support you on your sales journey. His main responsibilities revolve around marketing and the on-boarding process, whilst your property is coming onto the market. He will be one of the first people in the sales team you meet (after valuation stage), arranging the professional photography and any contract paperwork. He also runs our social media pages, making sure your property is getting maximum marketing visibility.

Amanda Henry-lomiglio

Amanda Henry-lomiglio Property & Sales Administrator

Amanda is our Property and Sales Administrator. Being a local girl (living in Bow), she has a great understanding and knowledge of the area. Based on the front desk, and the first point of contact when you visit the office, Amanda always has a welcoming smile. Managing the marketing of properties and sales administration, she ensures all our clients receive the highest standard of service. Amanda is a true multi-tasker and other duties involve, assisting the lettings team, social media updating, and actively being everyone’s rock.
